We established a scholarship program in our village, Fond Doux in 2013, in response to the lack of resources families had to send their children to school. The program grew quickly and we had to create an application process. Because of the lack of education and support at home, we hired our first tutor, a fellow university student in our program in 2017 and our second tutor in 2019. This has increased the passing rate of our youth. To date, we have provided over 300 scholarships, giving students the opportunity to attend preschool to university! We even hosted the first graduation ever in our village in 2016!

This has increased the passing rate of our youth. To date, we have given out over 300 scholarships, giving opportunities to students from preschool to university. We even hosted the first graduation ever in our village in 2016!

Just days after the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14th, 2021, we were able to send our local team to respond right away and were often the first team to bring aid to the many affected villages. We provided over 21,000 bags of clean water, rice, beans, soap, toilet paper, baby formula, and many other essentials to people who have lost everything in a matter of seconds. Our team drove many injured to the hospital and brought many doctors + nurses to the affected towns.
Beyond disaster relief, and medical emergencies, we are providing basic necessities to families in our village throughout the year. On Christmas Day 2021, we surprised 56 families with full bags of rice + beans + oil so they can have hot meals and full bellies for the holidays.
