Milk. 🥛 We all grew up drinking it. We were taught that we need calcium to build strong bones, healthy muscles, and brain function. It’s a staple that sits in the fridge of nearly every household. The number of times we pour out expired milk down the drain is just embarrassing. For children in Haiti, milk is not a daily beverage. It is a rare privilege. But at Impact International, the only school that feeds our students in our area, we provide fresh cow’s milk once a week. The kids love it. We have even picked out a protein-packed cracker for them to start each day! Besides that, every day our amazing kitchen staff presses fresh fruit juice and makes a nutritious, protein-filled school meal for our students! . . . On this Giving Tuesday, will you fight childhood hunger with us? With just $40, you can feed a student for a month at our school! For around $2400 a month, we are feeding 60 little ones and watching them grow their body, minds, and souls.. . .
