NEW YEAR IN HAITI

Welcome 2025!

We rang in the new year by celebrating with our beloved students + staff in Fond Doux, Haiti! Our trip was incredibly impactful. We held a Christmas Party for our entire school and enjoyed a special performance by each class! It’s amazing to see our little ones grow into their second year! We prepared four fun stations to teach the students about Christmas. And we ended the night with a big Pizza Party and GIFTS! It was a special day where everyone was able to forget about their troubles, celebrate, and go home with full bellies.

Because of your ongoing generosity, we also delivered rice + beans + oil to 14 families in need and fed over 400 meals while we were there.

We brought two former US Marines who held self-defense classes for people in our village and helped us put together an emergency plan for our school. We know the gang situation is serious, and though we are believing for the best, it’s important that we prepare our village to face all possible scenarios with wisdom & courage.

We brought our entire school staff of 17 members on our very first retreat because we care about investing in their well-being. We provided leadership training and had a lot of fun - refreshing their minds and souls. We are proud of the unity in our team, which is absolutely priceless.

PHASE 1: Completed!

LAND IS PAID OFF

BIG UPDATE - In September 2022, we found the perfect piece of land in Fond Doux, Haiti, where we can envision building the future site of our school! In November 2022, at our special event, A Night of Legacy, we kicked off our fundraising goal of $176,000 for Phase One of our Building Plan to purchase the land and build a well to give students access to clean water.

THIS TRIP, WE OFFICIALLY PAID OFF THE LAND AND COMPLETED PHASE ONE! βœ”οΈ

As you can see from this photo, we are ecstatic about this HUGE milestone! Take a moment and envision our future school building right there on that land. Thank you to The Founder’s Club and everyone who has contributed to our first step in laying a strong foundation for the future generations to come. Your generosity is building a lasting legacy in Haiti. To our founding members, we are forever grateful for you.

Through our movement challenge last Fall, we raised $104,496 for our two organizations, Impactful Missions and Hope Beyond Borders.
