The first day of school was filled with so much joy! This is our second year opening our doors at Impact International Institute of Haiti. Unlike last year’s first day of school, where all the students were coming in for the first time and meeting the teachers and staff for the first time (which can be very scary!), this year was one big reunion filled with hugs, kisses, and smiles! It made the new students feel welcomed + loved too!

The kids have been waiting all summer to come back to school, to this safe place, where they get to eat, learn, and have fun!

>> Our school is mostly donor-funded. Parents pay less than $20 a year for tuition because we want to give equal access to quality education regardless of their backgrounds. We believe every child has the potential to be a great leader, but most lack the opportunity in Haiti.

>>> We are the only school in our area to feed kids, have a variety of school supplies, hire qualified teachers, and provide an international school education experience. Extremely high food prices and the lack of access to resources have made it impossible for local schools to provide a proper learning environment. But at our school, we are investing in one-of-a-kind early childhood education!
