Hi, my name is Elisha! 👋

A little bit about myself... I started traveling to Haiti in 2009. After seeing extreme poverty firsthand, I grew passionate in finding long-term working solution to solve some of the world’s biggest problems. In 2013, I founded Impactful Market, former known as Elisha C., a social enterprise on a mission to end poverty through job creation, education, and empowerment. I personally met all the artisan partners we still work with today and 33 trips later, I still strongly believe that fair employment is the most effective way to empower people and break the cycle of poverty. I also started a scholarship program, where we have given out over 300 scholarships to send students to school, from preschool to university. And we held the first graduation for our village in 2016!

We are now in the process of starting a new school to make quality education accessible.

Through scholarships, tutoring and more, we are creating a path of education for every child in Haiti.

In less than two weeks, we will be taking a trip to visit our village, Fond Doux, Haiti. The 2022-23 Scholarship application process has official begun, where families in need are applying to our program so we can help send their children to school, buy uniforms, and books. We will also be meeting with our local team to discuss plans for our new school.

Besides speaking at local churches, hosting revival services, and praying for those in need, we will also be providing tangible resources to bring relief. We will be delivering full bags of rice, beans, and cooking oil to families throughout our village. Because of the political instability, gang violence, inflation (and many other major issues impacting Haiti the past few years), the food prices have DOUBLED. And it’s the local people who are suffering the most.
